I am a documentary producer and director focused on American community life. I began my career at the New York Daily News, later went on to produce for NBC News, HBO, VICE, Al Jazeera and A&E, and was the supervising producer for Season 2 of Vox's Netflix show, Explained.
My latest documentary, JOIN OR DIE, premiered at SXSW in 2023 and on Netflix in 2024. The film follows the half-century story of America's civic unraveling through the journey of legendary Harvard social scientist Robert Putnam and his groundbreaking "Bowling Alone" research into America's decades-long decline in community connections. JOIN OR DIE was nominated for two News & Documentary Emmy awards and has screened around the world at over 40 film festivals and 500 community events.
